  • 2 avocados (sliced)

  •  12 pcs watercress (rocket)

  • 2 stalks chives (sliced thinly)

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 4 slices sourdough bread (or any preferred bread)

  • 4 tbsp butter  

  • pinch of salt

Avocado Toast with Smoked Salmon

A great way to boost all the essential nutrients your body need. Avocados are packed with fibers and good fats your body needs. This dish is healthy and tasty.

Instructions

  1. Poach egg

    • In a small pot, boil 4 cups water. Add 8 tbsp white vinegar. Leave to simmer.
    • Crack an egg into a small bowl and gently drop egg into simmering water. Leave it to poach. 
    • With a slotted spoon, carefully remove egg and set it aside.


  2. Toast bread

    • Heat up grill panunder medium high heat. 
    • Brush butter on bread and grill bread for a few seconds. 
    • Flip over to grill the other side. Remove from grill.


  3. Assemble toast

    • Add avacodo slices, watercress , smoked salmon slices and poached egg onto grilled bread slices
    • Sprinkle salt and black pepper.


Plate and Serve!

Garnish with chopped chives and serve immediately.
