Stir-Fried Chicken & Spring Onions

Stir Fried Chicken & Spring Onions is flavored with assorted seasoning and sesame oil for extra aroma. Preserved frozen foods can be made to be fully flavored with small amounts of seasoning. The aroma of the sesame oil when cooked will whet your appetite.

Instructions

  1. Cut ingredients

    • Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.
    • Cut spring onions into cubes of 1cm x 1cm.


  2. Prepare the seasoning

    • Mix the grated garlic, chicken stock powder, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.


  3. Marinate

    • Add the cut chicken and spring onions into the bowl with the assorted seasoning, then mix thoroughly so that the ingredients are coated evenly.


  4. Put it in the freezer

    • Place the marinated chicken and spring onionsinside a freezer bag.
    • Remove air out of the bag and seal it with the zipper. 
    • Write the expiration date on the bag.
    • Put it in the freezer. (A freezer temperature around -18 °C is best.)


  5. Defrost (When cooking it for dinner)

    • On the morning of the day that you intend to cook it, take the freezer bag out of the freezer and put it into the refrigerator.


  6. Cook

    • Add oil to the frying pan and put on medium heat.
    • Once the frying pan is hot, put in the defrosted chicken and spring onions, together with all of the assorted seasoning.
    • Flip the chicken as it browns, and keep searing it for 8 minutes or until both sides of the meat are golden brown.

Plate and Serve!

Serve the cooked chicken and spring onions on a plate. Garnish with spring onions to taste.
