Air-Fryer Roast Chicken

Directions

  1. Prepare the chicken

    • Remove giblets and wash the chicken.

    • Place thyme sprigs and lemon quarters into the chicken cavity. 

    • Season with salt and pepper and rub all over chicken. 

    • Place chicken, breast-side up, in the air-fryer basket.

      Make sure to pat the chicken dry before preparing to achieve a crispy skin texture.



  2. Cook the Chicken

    • Set the air fryer to 180°C and cook for 20 minutes.

    • After 20 minutes, carefully turn the chicken over, and cook for another 20 minutes.

  3. Time to Serve

    • Transfer the chicken to a cutting board. 

    • Let rest for 10 minutes, cut to desired number of pieces and serve.
