  • 2 packs of instant noodles

  • 1 tsp vegetable oil

  • 4 cloves garlic (chopped)

  • 1 medium onion (sliced)

  • 160 ml water

  • 2 tbsp gochujang paste(Korean hot pepper paste)

  • 2 tbsp tomato paste

  • 1 vegetable bouillon cube

  • 2 spring onion (chopped)

  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

Kimchi Fried Noodles

Quick fix for Kimchi cravings.

Instructions

  1. Cut Kimchi

    • Cut kimchi into bite size
    • Set aside

  2. Boil Ramen

    • Boil 2 packs of instant noodles in boiling water.
    • Once noodles loosen, remove and drain. Set aside

  3. Fry noodles

    • Heat oil in frying pan 
    • Add garlic and onions and fry them
    • Pour water in a frying pan
    • Add vegetable bouillon cube, tomato paste andgochujang hot pepper paste.
    • Stir regularly till pastes dissolve.
    • Add kimchi and kimchi juice
    • Stir and cook for 1-2 mins
    • Add cooked instant noodles and spring onions (save some spring onions for garnish)
    • Stir and mix evenly.
    • Cover the pan, let the noodles cook for 2 mins.
    • Turn heat off and serve hot.
    Fry noodles


Garnish and Serve!

Garnish with sesame seeds and remaining spring onions.
