150 g sirloin steak
50 g flour
1 egg (beaten)
100 g panko (japanese breadcrumbs)
40g cabbage (shredded thinly)
2 cherry tomatoes (halved)
1 lemon wedge
20 g mayonnaise
20 g tonkatsu sauce
(to make tonkatsu sauce: stir ketchup, soy sauce, brown sugar, mirin, Worcestershire sauce, ginger, and garlic together in a bowl. Let it sit for at least 30mins before serving.)
salt & pepper to taste
120 ml oil (for frying)
Dredge the steak in flour, shake off excess.
Dip it in the beaten egg. Then coat it with the Panko breadcrumbs
In a pan, heat up oil in med heat and fry each side for 40-45 seconds.
Remove from pan and let the beef rest for 5 minutes.
Cut and serve the beef
