Tahu Kriwil is an unforgettable snack made from mashed tofu mixed with simple spices. This triumph of a dish is called tofu kriwil because when fried, it forms an uneven curly shape, called ‘kriwil’ in Indonesian. Simple, hearty and bursting with flavor for a quick and impressive snack.

Instructions

  1. Making Tahu Kriwil

    • In a bowl, mash the tofu by hand.

    • Add ingredients: wheat flour, maizena flour, garlic, salt, chicken stock powder and leek, then stir until well mixed.

    • Heat the oil using medium heat then take 30 g of dough and place it in the hot oil. Fry until golden brown. Repeat.
