Stick Kentang Keju is a quick and easy snack to make. As the name implies, these cheesy potato sticks are made from a blend of steamed potatoes and cheddar cheese. Deep fried to golden brown perfection, these bite-sized treats are addictively savory and crunchy. Perfect to munch on when you are having a movie marathon!

Instructions

  1. Making the potato cheese sticks

    • Peel the potatoes and steam them until they are cooked.

    • Once they are cooked, blend until smooth.

    • Add salt and 7 ml of oil and combine well.

    • Add cheddar cheese, cornstarch and leek. Mix well.

  2. Fry the potato cheese sticks

    • Transfer the mashed potatoes into a piping bag.

    • Heat up 300ml of oil over medium heat.

    • Once the oil has been heated up, pipe the mashed potatoes into the hot oil.

    • Flip the potato sticks so that they fry evenly on both sides.

    • Drain off excess oil and repeat for all.
