A Fast Recipe for Amazing Satay Lettuce Wraps

A quick and easy recipe using store bought frozen satay meat slices with a slight twist to how it is being served.

Instructions

  1. Chop vegetables

    • Slice the Japanese cucumber diagonally into thin slices.
    • Slice the red onion thinly.
    • Halved the romaine lettuce

  2. Stir frying the satay

    • Thaw the frozen chicken satay meat thoroughly and remove meat from skewers (if needed).
    • In a pan, heat up oil.
    • Add in the thawed satay meat slices and stir fry for about 6 minutes till cooked.
    • Set aside.

  3. Satay sauce

    • In a small pot, heat up the frozen satay sauce for about 3 minutes. 
    • Set aside.

Garnish and serve!

On a piece of romaine lettuce leaf, add a slice of cucumber. Add some satay meat slices onto it. Top with some red onion slices. Serve alongside with the satay sauce.
