Risol Mayo

{{totalReview}}
A unique take on the typical rissole, an Indonesian deep fried pastry, this Risol Mayo is stuffed with mayonnaise, smoked beef, eggs and potatoes. It is a popular tea time snack made by wrapping the filling with a crepe-like skin and coating it with breadcrumbs for an added crunch. Test your cooking skills in this recipe – the reward is definitely worth it!

Instructions

  1. Making the crepe skin

    • Add all the ingredients in (A) in a bowl then stir and combine well.
    • Prepare a non-stick pan for the crepes.
    • If using a normal pan, brush the pan with a little oil or margarine so that the crepe doesn't stick.
    • Pour enough batter to cover the entire surface of the pan and try to make the crepe skin thin so that the Risol is not too thick, when rolled up
