Dadar Gulung Coklat is a modern take on the traditional Indonesian snack. This sweet rolled crepe dessert is made from a tapioca flour batter with a rich chocolatey filling. Perfect for those with a sweet tooth, it is the perfect snack to roll out whenever you have guests over, especially during tea time.

Instructions

  1. Making the Batter

    • In a medium bowl, add in all the ingredients in (A). Use a whisk and mix till well combined. Leave it to rest for 10 minutes.

  2. Making Wrap

    • In a crepe pan or non-stick pan, heat with some butter.
    • Add in a scoop of batter and cook it with low heat.
    • Once cooked, remove and set aside.
    • Repeat for the rest of the batter. 


  3. Rolling the Dadar Gulung

    • Take the wrap, add in a tbsp of chocolate spread or chocolate filling in the middle.
    • Fold the bottom of the wrap over the filling. Bring in the 2 sides and roll it in.
    • Repeat for the remaining wraps.

Sprinkle with some sugar and serve
