Ayam Pentul (Pinhead Breaded Fried Chicken)

{{totalReview}}
Ayam Pentul is crispy fried chicken, a recipe that originates from Cirebon, a town in West Java. As presentation is as important as taste when it comes to serving delicious dishes, this matchstick shaped chicken is made with great care. Pentul is known as the head of a needle. Hence the shape of the pinhead. The crunchy texture of the fried outer layer plus the savory tenderness of Ayam Pentul is fabulous with rice, or even as a nutritious protein packed snack.
