150 g sweet potatoes, slice oblique 1 cm thick
70 g wheat flour
70 g sugar
100 g water
100 g breadcrumbs
100 g wheat flour
1 L cooking oil
Steam sweet potatoes for 10 minutes then remove and set aside.
This recipe can be done without first steaming the sweet potatoes however it will take a slightly longer time to cook.
For sweet potatoes you can use orange sweet potatoes or purple sweet potatoes, or you can replace them with pumpkins.
In a medium sized bowl, add flour, sugar and water. Mix till there are no lumps.
Place the wheat flour and breadcrumbs in two separate bowls.
Coat the sweet potatoes in wheat flour then wet flour mix and finally coat with breadcrumbs. Repeat for all the sweet potato slices.
