500 g banana, ripe
200 g brown sugar
300 ml water
17 g cornstarch, dissolved in 30 ml of water
30 g butter, for greasing
Boil the bananas until they are cooked. Remove and set aside.
Use bananas of choice.
After the bananas are cooled, peel and press gently to flatten the banana, taking care not to squish or crumble it. Do the same with all the bananas.
Heat the grill. Once it’s hot, grease the bananas with butter, and grill both sides until they are golden brown. Remove and set aside.
A sprinkling of grated cheese or chocolate can be added to the bananas before serving.
