1 kg rambutan fruit
126 g sugar
5 limes
400 ml water
5 g salt
7 pcs pickled plums (kiamboy)
6 g red cayenne pepper, thinly sliced
Peel the rambutan and gently wash it.
In a saucepan, add water, salt, sugar and pickled pickles.
Bring it to a boil over medium heat. Remove and set aside.
Add the rambutan fruit, red chilli slices, and lime juice in a bowl.
Pour the brine over the fruits and mix well.
Chill the pickled rambutan in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
Serve the chilled Asinan Rambutan in a sharing bowl, and enjoy!
