360 g spaghetti
10 g garlic, coarsely chopped
10 g butter or cooking oil
Sambal Matah:
50 g shallots, thinly sliced
15 g cayenne pepper, thinly sliced
20 g lemongrass, thinly sliced
5 kaffir lime leaves, thinly sliced
2 g salt
10 g sugar
5 g chicken stock powder
10 g lemon juice
30 ml cooking oil
Heat up the cooking oil on medium and put in the rest of the sambal matah ingredients.
Stir until well blended and take it off the heat.
Sauté chopped garlic with butter or cooking oil until golden brown. Add the sambal matah sauce, and stir until the chili sauce ingredients are wilted. Pour the sauce into a big heat resistant bowl.
Shrimp, tuna or chicken can be added to the dish.
