500 g okra
2 g turmeric powder
3 g red chili powder
3 g coriander powder
3 g cumin powder
3 g garam masala powder
3 g amchur (mango powder)
3 g chaat masala (acidic spice mix)
75 g besan (gram flour)
100 ml oil for frying okra in batches
| For a healthier version of the Kurkuri Bhindi, bake the marinated okra in a 300°C oven for 5 to 6 minutes.
Chaat Masala is a lip-smacking spice mix that can be found at any Indian general store. Try Chaat Masala on fried foods such as french fries or potato wedges.
Serve the Kurkuri Bhindi hot on a plate.
