marinade:
500 g boneless and skinless chicken breast (cut into 1-inch pieces)
2 tbsp plain yogurt
½ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp ground cumin
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp ground coriander
1 clove garlic (minced)
pinch of salt
sauce:
2 tbsp ghee
1 medium-sized red onion (sliced thinly)
1 tbsp ginger paste
1 tbsp garlic paste
1 tbsp ground coriander
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp garam masala
½ tsp turmeric
½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
4 green chilies (chopped finely)
½ cup coriander leaves (chopped finely)
½ cup mint leaves (chopped finely)
2 tbsp plain yogurt
salt to taste
sugar to taste
1 tbsp golden raisins (for garnish)
Serve with rice or naan.
