Often brought home by travellers as souvenirs of their time spent in the Philippines, Polvoron (also known as Pulburon/Polboron in Tagalog) is a Filipino shortbread that originated from the Iberian Peninsula. A soft and crumbly dessert, Polvoron is made of flour, fat, sugar and milk. This mixture is then filled into specially made Polvoron molds to be shaped into cookies before being individually wrapped with colored kraft papers. Colorful, delicious and easy to make - what’s there not to love?
