8 pcs whole ripe sweet plantains (saba bananas, peeled)
1 L olive oil
400 g brown sugar
4 pcs bamboo skewers/sticks
| Gently stir the plantains in the wok while cooking it with the brown sugar to coat them. Do not cook it on high heat as this will burn the sugar and turns bitter.
| Instead of olive oil, you may use any cooking oil to fry the plantains.
Remove the fried plantains from the wok and skewer 2 pieces of plantains into a bamboo stick before serving.
