90 g caster sugar
1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tbsp chinese five spice powder
125 g plain flour
125 g self-raising flour
pinch of salt
zest of 1 orange
450 ml boiling water
2 tbsp grapeseed oil or canola oil
1 L vegetable oil for frying
Chocolate sauce:
250 g dark chocolate (chopped)
3 tbsp honey
300 ml double/heavy cream
Toss the churros with the spiced sugar. Serve alongside chocolate sauce.
