Kimchi Seaweed Popcorn

Popcorns are great but wouldn’t it be nice if there were more flavour options? Look no further because here you have an easy-to-make recipe that will supercharge your popcorn and your taste-buds. Fair warning though –expect it to be a tad spicy because of the liberal use of kimchi and a touch of sriracha.

Instructions

  1. Pop the Popcorns

    • Add popcorn kernel into a pan over low heat.
    • Cover with lid
    • Shake the pan regularly or lower the heat to prevent burning
    • After the final pop, remove from heat and set aside


  2. Popcorn Mixture

    • Add and mix kimchi, sesame seeds, sesame oil, sriracha in a large mixing bowl.
    • Add popcorn and toss with mixture evenly.
    • Spread popcorn mixture insingle layer on parchment paper and baking tray.

  3. Bake the Popcorn Mixture

    • Pre-heat over 180°C
    • Bake the popcorn mixture for 5 mins
    • Sprinkle salt to taste.


Plate and Serve!

Sprinkle chopped seaweedand serve.
