Es Timun Jeruk Nipis is a refreshingly green Indonesian drink made of melon syrup, grated cucumbers, lime juice and basil seeds. Commonly found in restaurants and eateries in Aceh, it is known locally as Ie Boh Timun.

Instructions

  1. Grate cucumbers

    • Remove the skin of the cucumbers and grate lengthwise. Set aside.

    • In a glass, add melon syrup, ice cubes, grated cucumber, basil seeds and fill the rest up with water.
    • Squeeze the juice of a lime
