Chocolate Almond Toffee Bars

This dessert is just right if you have a sweet tooth. This easy 8-ingredient recipe makes 25 ooey-gooey indulgence bars, and is one of my most requested recipes.

Instructions

  1. Prepare

    • Grease and line a 2L (8-inch) square pan with parchment paper, so that the paper hangs over the sides of the pan.
    • In a mixing bowl, stir oats, graham crumbs and salt to combine, then, stir in melted butter. 
    • Press crumbly oat mixture into prepared pan.
    • Sprinkle Skor toffee bits evenly on top, followed by chocolate chips and sliced almonds. 
    • Pour condensed milk evenly over pan.


  2. Bake

    • Preheat oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
    • Place the pan into the oven and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, until the top is golden brown and edges are bubbling. Mixture will sink in as it bakes.


Plate and Serve!

Cool to room temperature, then chill for at least 4 hours before slicing. You can store these toffee bars in the refrigerator for up to a week.
