If what you’re seeking is a temple of baked goods and great coffee, Dou Dou Bake is the place to be. A nook in the cozy neighbourhood of Petaling Jaya, this corner-lot cafe whips up freshly baked pastries, breads and desserts on the daily.

Feeling savory? The Portobello Mushroom Danish (RM16) and Confit Garlic & Furikake Bun (RM10) are also good picks from their tabletop arsenal. When life gives you lemons, treat yourself to the Lemon Cream Tart (RM14) or Kaffir Lime Drizzle Loaf (RM10).

Don’t forget to grab a cup of coffee, tea or seasonal kombucha (beverages from RM10) on your way out!

Beard Brothers' BBQ has made a name for themselves in the Klang Valley in the BBQ scene with their low and slow wood fired barbeque, taking 20 hours to prep and cook their barbecued halal briskets. Juicy and tender fall-off-the-bone briskets, beef short ribs and pulled lamb are just a few of their BBQ staples for you to choose from.

For larger groups or family-sized meals, dig into the Triple Threat (RM200-250*) which comes with beef brisket, burnt ends, and pastrami beef ribs or the Relationsheep (RM180-220*) with quarter chicken, pulled lamb, and lamb ribs. All of these platters come with a selection of sides to share.

If you’re looking for something just for you, choose from Texas Star (RM26) with Beef Brisket, Jalil (RM24) with Quarter Chicken, Sheep Thrill (RM29) with Pulled Lamb and so much more. Not only that, you get to mix and match or add on meats and sides to your platter to your liking. With sides like cornbread, slaw, mashed “brotatoes” and cherry pie (seasonal), you’ll definitely leave Beard Brothers' with a food baby and a big smile on your face!
